We had great fun making paper planes in class for Engineers week. We launched them in the hall and we were amazed by how far they went. We even looked at the shapes we were making when we were designing our paper planes as we are learning all about our shapes in Maths too.

We had a colouring competition in Junior and Senior Infants for Engineers week, Andrew won in Room 2. He drew a castle, a fountain, a road, houses a hotel a bridge and a few other things that engineers design and work on! It was a tough competition to judge as everyone came up with great drawings. (Photo already on website since this morning)

We also put on our Engineers glasses and went on a walk to see the different things engineers work on and design. It was great fun and very windy, we nearly lost a few pages but teacher manages to chase them down!
