During the month of November, Science Week took place. The Junior Infants had the opportunity to experiment with magnets in their classroom and they had a great time.
They also listened to some new stories, ‘Elmer and the Lost Teddy’, and ‘Handa’s Surprise.’ Afterwards they made patchwork elephants and teddies and some fruit baskets with the same fruits as Handa.
The Junior Infants also had the opportunity to explore 2D shapes and to make shape pictures.
The last week of November was Weather Week and the Juniors recorded the weather everyday. They made umbrellas for art and learned some songs and poems about the weather!
