Dear Parents                                                            Issue: 23                                     11th May 2015

 

Congratulations to the following girls in 6th class who won the U14B Championship Final 2015: Nessa Kelly, Eimear Tully, Sarah Dowling, Caoimhe Rohan, Ava Earls and Megan Earls. The team have qualified to the Feile Championship 2015 which will be held in Ballycastle, Co. Antrim.

 

John Morris Burke from the FAI will continue to provide a Football Club to Mrs. Monson’s class on Fridays.

 

Tests will be administered to children from 1st class up to 6th class for the next two weeks. A Grant was received from the Department over the last few years to subsidise the cost of tests. Please forward test fee outlined below to your child’s teacher immediately if you have not already done so.

There will be a Staff Meeting this Thursday, the 14th of May. Children will go home at 1.15pm.

 

The Public Health Nurse will carry out screening (hearing, vision & colour vision) for Junior Infants and any new children who enrolled this school year on Monday and Tuesday the 18th & 19th of May. Consent Forms will be distributed tomorrow. Please return all forms to class teacher as soon as possible.

  • School Tours 3rd, 4th & 5th of June (further details will follow)
  • Reception Meeting for parents of new pupils for September 2014 on Wednesday, the 10th of June.
  • Open afternoon for new Junior Infants on Thursday, the 11th of June from 12.30 – 1.30pm.
  • Intercultural Day 12th of June
  • Active School Week 15th to the 19th of June
  • Graduation Mass for 6th class girls and 1st class boys on Friday, the 26th of June at 11am
