The Senior Infants of S.C.N have been very busy learning about Autumn.
Last Thursday, the three classes along with their teachers headed off on an Autumn Trail. We took an observational tour up to the convent where we had our eyes wide open in search of Autumn leaves, fruits and colours.
We collected conkers and leaves from the horse-chestnut tree, and berries from the hawthorn bush.
Afterwards we continued our investigations in the school where we observed more berries, evergreen and deciduous trees and plenty of signs of Autumn .
