Xperimental Science for Senior Infants


The senior infants in Room 8 had great fun taking part in the Xperimental Science show that visited Scoil Chroí Naofa last Friday. The infants learned about many of the forces that shape our world such as gravity, energy and mass, through crazy experiements involving leaf blowers and smoke machines! Hopefully they won’t try it at home!

Aistear in room 4


Our theme for November is the Train Station. We were having fun making jigsaws, making trains and tracks using play dough, building train sets and dressing up as the train driver, passengers and working in lost property. We even made our own train tickets. Fun during Science Week-Sneeze experiment

Making Slime in room 4


Senior Infants had fun making slime. For Halloween, we enjoyed dressing up and making a real spider web using wool.

Sixth Class were ‘fighting with words!!!!!!’


Sixth Class took the morning train to Galway today to attend a creative writing workshop in the Town Hall Theatre. They are now in the process of writing and publishing their own stories which they will hopefully share with the school in due course. We wait in eager anticipation!!!!!

The Band is in full swing……


Our Medieval Town Band is up and running and busy preparing for its first performance of the year when the girls play at the official turning on of the Christmas lights in Athenry on Friday the 30th! We can’t wait!!!
