Engineers Week in Mrs Murray’s Senior Infants


We had a wonderful time using recycled materials to create amazing constructions (boats, houses, buses, robots, robotic arms etc). We also had a competition to construct a marshmallow tower! Hannah’s dad came in to talk to us about engineering. See some photos below.

Confirmation Class 2017

Miss Alani’s First Class


The children working as part of a team in the sunshine! The children in First Class really enjoyed their three sessions of camogie / hurling skills. They worked on their physical literacy skills, spatial awareness, turn taking and working as a team. It was an active session in the sunshine. They loved it.

Catholic Schools Week 2017 Grandparents were invited to visit Scoil Chroí Naofa to celebrate Catholic Schools week. There was a wonderful response to the invitation, with grandparents and even great-grandparents, travelling fr0m near and far to see their darling grandchildren in their classrooms.

Creative Engineers As part of engineer’s week, Ms. Tyrrell  encouraged all classes to become engineers and build using recycled materials. The finished products were absolutely amazing!
